HOOMSOINS Urine Collection System – Limited Warranty Policy

Warranty Coverage

RUIPU USA INC. warrants to the original purchaser of the HOOMSOINS Urine Collection System that the product will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for the periods specified below, calculated from the original date of purchase:

• Main Unit Coverage: The main device and its core components are covered for a period of three (3) years.
• Battery Coverage: If the product includes a battery, it is covered for a period of one (1) year. This battery warranty specifically covers manufacturing defects such as failure to charge, inability to hold a charge, or physical swelling. It explicitly excludes normal capacity decrease over time, which is an expected characteristic of rechargeable lithium-ion batteries.

This warranty applies exclusively to the original purchaser and is not transferable to any subsequent owners or users. Valid proof of purchase, such as a dated sales receipt or invoice, is required to process any warranty claim.

What Is Not Covered

This limited warranty does not extend to:

• Normal Wear and Tear: Damage resulting from ordinary use, including but not limited to scratches, discoloration, or minor cosmetic imperfections that do not impair the functionality of the device.
• Improper Use or Handling: Defects or damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, accidents, improper installation, or failure to adhere to the operating instructions provided in the user manual.
• Unauthorized Modifications or Repairs: Any product that has been opened, modified, altered, or repaired by any party not expressly authorized by RUIPU USA INC.
• External Causes: Damage resulting from exposure to extreme temperatures, moisture, liquid intrusion, power surges, or other environmental factors falling outside standard operating conditions.
• Consumable Parts: Components designed for regular replacement during normal usage, such as collection bags, tubing, and adhesive elements, are classified as consumables. These are not covered unless they are demonstrated to be defective upon initial receipt.

Should a replacement be issued, it may consist of a new or refurbished unit of equal or greater value and functionality. This remedy is exclusive and serves as a substitute for all other remedies available at law or in equity.

Limitation of Implied Warranties

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE STRICTLY LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE WARRANTY PERIODS DESCRIBED ABOVE (THREE YEARS FOR THE MAIN UNIT AND ONE YEAR FOR THE BATTERY). SOME STATES AND JURISDICTIONS DO NOT PERMIT LIMITATIONS ON THE DURATION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES; ACCORDINGLY, THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOUR SPECIFIC CASE.

Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL RUIPU USA INC. BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR INDIRECT DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE HOOMSOINS URINE COLLECTION SYSTEM, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THIS EXCLUSION ENCOMPASSES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, COSTS OF PROCURING SUBSTITUTE GOODS, OR CLAIMS ASSERTED BY THIRD PARTIES. CERTAIN STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

Governing Law

This warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
